Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge technology.

This is an independent contractor position requiring a reliable vehicle, a ladder, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor role with flexible schedule.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and carry at least a 32' ladder.
• Must have a Lidar device or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
• HAAG Certification is a plus and ability to obtain required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep and high roofs for exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections as part of claims support.
• Utilize technology to assess property damage and prevent further harm until repairs are complete.
• Provide professional, empathetic customer service to insureds.
