Job summary

Circana is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, drug, and mass retailers to scan barcodes and collect in-store data. Shifts average 8–16 hours per week across all stores, with occasional additional project work throughout the year.

You will use a mobile app to scan products, record quantities for about 45% of items, and report results weekly. The role offers independence, flexible scheduling, and exposure to retail analytics.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to collect in-store data and report quantities for ~45% of scanned products.
• Complete weekly display scanning across the store and assist with Custom Projects as needed.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients (retailers and brands).
