Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Gaylord, MI to provide ongoing store support and project-based merchandising. This independent contractor role involves stock, display resets, and execution of marketing initiatives across assigned stores.

Strong communication and relationship-building with store teams are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of coordinating with multiple store teams to deliver accurate merchandising

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Planogram experience is a plus.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
