Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. The role offers flexible scheduling, project-based pay, and opportunities to work with multiple retailers.

Projects typically range from 12-20 hours per month, with some windows requiring work early each month. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, stay active, and deliver high-quality retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service.
• Able to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to work independently on multiple assignments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with mobile technology for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects per client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms.
• Ensure displays are clean and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
