Job summary

SFS is growing and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule with service windows rather than fixed hours, supporting major retailers and brands.

Assignments include merchandising, resets, audits, display maintenance, and stock tasks across various locations. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime windows.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting with photos and project documentation using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
