Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This role offers flexible, self-directed hours with 12–20 hours per month typical, servicing major retailers and brands. Projects include merchandising, resets, audits, inventory, and display maintenance.

You pick projects that fit your schedule and travel to locations across the country as needed. Ideal candidates have merchandising or customer service experience, can follow planograms, and report

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
