Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking an experienced Residential Loss Control Inspector to perform interior and exterior loss control inspections on a contractor basis in the Seattle area. Inspections are set mutually with clients; reports are submitted through a cloud system.

Requires own equipment and reliable transportation. Preferred candidates have a background in personal lines loss control, a valid car, Windows 10 computer, high-speed internet, and the ability to meet tight

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory as needed.
• Must have a digital camera and measuring tool; Windows 10 computer with high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
