Job summary

Capstone ISG is hiring independent (1099) property adjusters to support a growing claims team. Positions are based in Pittsburg, PA and Albany, NY, with additional locations considered, and require reliable transportation and strong written communication.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations to determine coverage and loss extent, documenting damage with Xactimate, and keeping clients and insureds informed throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property insurance claims experience.
• Active Xactimate account required.
• Able to handle partial and full assignments.
• Commercial and personal lines experience preferred.
• Must have own transportation, equipment and software.
• Good writing and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt, thorough investigations to determine coverage, origin, and loss extent.
• Document damage and prepare estimates using Xactimate.
• Keep client and insured informed about claim status with clear communication.
