Job summary

RISE Pediatric Therapies in Arizona is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three in home and community settings.

As an independent contractor, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary core team, attend family and core team meetings, and travel to families’ homes, with flexible evenings and weekends as needed in the North Peoria/North Glendale and West Surprise area.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• In-home and clinical setting speech therapy experience required; pediatric experience is preferred.
• Completion of the AzEIP standards of practice for Early Interventionists within three years of a start date; candidate must possess demonstrable knowledge of AzEIP Policies and Procedures and Team Based Model
• Meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as a Speech Pathologist, including licensure.
• Background check and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and assessments for children birth to three years old.
• Deliver ongoing speech therapy in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary core team and families, doctors, and other professionals.
• Attend Core Team meetings, Individual Family Service Plan meetings, and other related sessions; travel to meet families in their environment; schedule may include evenings or weekends.
