Job summary

Skills on the Hill LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work as an independent contractor with DC public charter schools. You’ll run your own practice, set your schedule, and be paid for the services you deliver, with no unpaid hours.

• Must hold a DC Board of Occupational Therapy license.
• Independent contractor with W-9 and an NPI.
• Carry professional liability insurance and maintain coverage.
• Proof of CPR/First Aid certification.
• Background clearances required for DC school work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver school-based OT services for assigned caseload.
• Write evaluations and progress documentation meeting IEP and school requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings for your students.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and families.
• Practice within your scope, licensure, and your own clinical standards.
