Job summary

Florida Health Care Plans is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (APRN/PA) to deliver outpatient primary care services and extended care center support. The APP will perform full medical evaluations, document in the EHR within 24 hours, and coordinate with the supervising physician as questions arise.

Minimum 3 years post-licensing experience, licensed APRN/PA, and strong communication are required; EMR experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA licensure is required and current.
• Minimum 3 years post-licensing experience, independent practice.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• EMR experience required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Clear English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services within scope of practice.
• Conduct medical evaluations, exams, tests, and create care plans.
• Educate patients and document encounters in EHR within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with supervising/collaborating physician as needed.
