Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking independent Physical or Occupational Therapists to perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments for clients across the region. You will work as an independent contractor, leveraging your clinical expertise to determine needs and recommend equipment, services, and care to help clients stay independent.

Assessment rates range from $135 to $200 per assessment, with variation by location and assessment type.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist (no PTAs or COTAs).
• Malpractice/liability insurance (may be purchased at offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes, including stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a member's home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through secure online portal accessible from any device.
