Job summary

FeldCare Connects seeks a self-motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver premier home health care in the Marina Del Rey area as an Independent Contractor. The role focuses on assessing function, ADLs, fine motor skills, and equipment needs to plan and implement effective therapy.

You will lead patients through therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with family and care teams while maintaining significant autonomy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• OT license and state registration required.
• Completion of an accredited OT program.
• Bilingual a plus; ability to work with diverse adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs related to functionality, ADLs, and home safety.
• Determine treatment plans and perform interventions to improve wellbeing.
• Evaluate patient progress and report changes to the team.

This position is for an Independent Contractor to serve the Marina Del Reyareaspecifically.

FeldCare Connectsis currently seeking a self-motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver premier excellence of care and is enthusiastic about working with adults of all ages.

The Occupational Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs relating to functionality status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Occupational Therapist determines a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's wellbeing, and evaluates the patient’s progress.

An OccupationalTherapist for Home Health must:

• Provide services defined by the state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
• Lead the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can participate in assisting the patient.

Qualifications:

• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
• Occupational Therapistlicense and registration by the state
• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapistprogram
• Bilingual a plus!
