Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. invites an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside our Sam's Club locations. You will lead eye and vision care, with autonomy to set practice days, hours, and patient schedules, while maintaining your own fee schedule and receiving 100% of exam fees.

This model offers flexibility in equipment, and optional admin or opt-tech support if allowed by state regulations. You directly contribute to member wellbeing and community eye care.

Qualifications

• OD degree from accredited optometry school.
• Active state optometry license.
• MD/DO ophthalmology degree with license.
• General Liability Certificate/Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
• ME/VA license agreements are with Gumberg Asset Management Company.

Responsibilities

• Lease your practice space in Sam's Club and establish practice days.
• Establish hours of operation and control patient scheduling.
• Set your fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees.
• Opt into advanced equipment or admin/Opt-Tech support if state allows.
