Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
• Current NP certification in specialty area
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex patients.
• Order labs and radiology tests and refer to specialists as needed.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens.
• Discuss potential side effects and update allergy information before prescribing.
• Collaborate with the primary care team to provide standard of care for primary care patients.
• Analyze reports, test results, and records to diagnose conditions and propose treatments.
• Advise patients on lifestyle and diet changes to improve health.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
• Record complete, timely medical records.
• Assist with training and compliance actions.
• Perform other duties as needed.
