Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to serve as independent contractors supporting military service members. Work centers on weekends with occasional weekdays under the RHRP in Georgia, with work at mobile and fixed sites as needed.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing histories and records, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications. Active NP license, CPR/BLS, and flexibility for travel are required.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred.
• Ability to travel and weekend availability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns that need immediate attention, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
