Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections for mortgage companies. No licensing or certifications are required, and prior experience is a plus but not required.

Inspectors work independently, travel locally, and manage their own schedule. Inspectors perform exterior occupancy checks and occasional interior vacant or damage inspections.

Qualifications

• No licensing or certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android) and internet-connected computer.
• Printer and basic office supplies.
• Ability to obtain a Shield ID (GIS linked).
• HUD/InspectorKeys may be provided.
• Voltstick and selfie stick are recommended.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE).
• Communicate regularly with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.
