Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking independent Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections for mortgage companies. We offer flexible schedules, part-time or full-time positions, and weekly pay on a 1099 contract basis.

Inspections focus on occupancy status, photos, and condition reporting; some interior checks may occur. Travel within your territory is required, with DC-Washington coverage noted for assigned counties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable vehicle with up-to-date auto insurance.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android) required.
• Computer with internet access required.
• Printer and basic office supplies may be needed.
• Ability to obtain Shield ID (GIS on-boarding) and HUD/InspectorKeys.
• Self-motivation and strong time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using InspectorADE mobile app.
• Communicate with Inspection Relations Coordinator on progress.
