Job summary

Dabsinc in Pinole, California is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with developmental disabilities. You'll provide individualized support while ensuring health and safety in community settings.

This role includes both Personal Attendant and Skills Instructor tracks, focusing on daily living skills, community integration, and enhancing independence. Positions available are full-time and part-time, with flexible hours and a competitive pay range of $17.00 – $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for personal values.
• Punctual attendance and ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and supervision to adults in home and community settings.
• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing and meal preparation.
• Teach independent living skills including cooking, budgeting, and household management.
