The role requires patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal abilities, with responsibilities including meals, hygiene, budgeting, transportation, and companionship. Both full-time and part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in direct care or similar role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly in emergencies.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coaches the individual around their home.
• Coaching in completing basic hygiene tasks.
• Oversees exercises and activities.
• Ensures medications are taken as prescribed.
• Prepares meals with dietary considerations.
• Coaches with light cleaning and housework.
• Helps develop basic independent living skills.
• Assists budgeting and basic household tasks.
• Provides transportation when needed.
• Acts as a companion and supports daily activities.
