Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring in Minnesota for a role delivering in-home and in-community support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will use your own vehicle to transport clients between shifts, with mileage reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or 21 depending on person-served)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, auto liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport person-served (required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Associates in relevant field or two years equivalent experience
• Willing to drive a 30-mile radius
• Adept in the use of technology and possess a smart device with adequate data
• Flexible and a team player, able to support the person-served

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in a 1:1 in-home and in-community setting as you support them to pursue a happier, healthier, more independent life
• Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, fostering independence
• Maintain a clean, safe space that supports comfort and progress toward personal goals
• Provide skill development in areas including community participation, health, safety, wellness, household management and adaptive skills
• Attend team meetings, document progress, and collaborate with the support team to ensure consistency in service provision
