Nishna Productions, Inc. in Shenandoah, IA is seeking a Supported Community Living Specialist (SCLS) for a full-time, Monday–Friday 7am–3pm role.

The SCLS reports to the Team Leader and Director of Residential Services and performs duties to support individuals’ independence in daily living, health coordination, budgeting, and community participation. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Require high school diploma or GED.
• Preference for prior similar experience teaching daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene).
• Must have valid Iowa Chauffeur’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, and assist individuals to become more independent in activities of daily living.
• Coordinate health and medical needs for individuals.
• Assist individuals in accessing community services and participating in community activities.
• Provide training in budgeting, personal finances, and use of personal property.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete records and documentation per procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings and follow agency policies.
