Nishna Productions Inc. is seeking a Supported Community Living Specialist (SCLS) for a full-time on-site role in Red Oak, IA. The position requires teaching daily living skills, coordinating health needs, and providing supervision and support to residents.

You will work a schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. Responsibilities include training residents in daily living tasks, documenting progress, coordinating transportation, and ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and ability to obtain required licenses.
• Must have valid Iowa chauffeur's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screening.
• Willingness to work overnight or varied shifts and handle behavioral challenges.
• Commitment to HIPAA and protecting residents' privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care including meals, laundry, housekeeping, toileting, and bathing.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities.
• Train and supervise daily living skills and independence.
• Document and maintain records per agency procedures.
• Monitor residents' health needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and nutrition in residence.
• Assist with budgeting and managing personal finances with guidance.
• Support staff and train new teammates as assigned.
