Job summary

Minds in Motion Initiative in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a DSP to staff a 24/7 residential services program. You will implement independent living goals, teach daily living skills, and support clients toward greater independence in a community setting.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Successful clearance of background check.
• Negative drug screening result.
• Experience working with people with brain injuries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and bathing skills.
• Teach medication management and schedule adherence.
• Support budgeting, shopping, nutrition, and meal prep.
• Promote safety procedures and mobility, including use of public transport.
• Encourage and model positive personal and social behaviors.
