Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence and quality of life. You will provide direct care, guidance, and skill-building in residential and community-based settings, helping with daily living activities and personal goal attainment.

You’ll advocate for people’s preferences, promote community participation, and maintain a safe, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and skill development.
• Support community participation and personal goal attainment.
• Assist individuals in accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion and relationship building.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for individuals served.
• Review and maintain required documentation accurately and on time.
