Job summary

Hidden Springs of McKinney in McKinney, TX is seeking an Independent Senior Living Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. The role emphasizes resident privacy and teamwork within a senior living community.

Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Sunday–Thursday. Duties include grounds maintenance, floor care, minor repairs, and ensuring vacant units are ready for occupancy. The position requires safety awareness and reliable, regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English. Bi-lingual a plus.
• Experience operating a variety of maintenance equipment.
• Willing to work beyond normal hours to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on community grounds and parking areas (policing, sweeping, blowing).
• Performs upkeep of floors including carpet cleaning, deodorizing and sanitizing.
• Strips, seals and waxes tile floors as needed.
• Inspects hallways daily for carpet cleaning needs.
• Performs community trash removal at start of day.
• Repairs and maintains the community as directed (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Ensures vacant units are clean, functional and ready for occupancy.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor and notifies manager of hazards.
• Prepares and maintains safe areas to prevent injuries to residents, employees, and visitors.
