Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment at restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, use wiring diagrams and diagnostic tools, and communicate clearly with customers.

This hands-on role includes independent scheduling, on-site service records, and participation in an on-call rotation with possible travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, or related military role.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• EPA or CFESA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment at various facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Explain issues and repair steps to customers and document service records.
• Participate in on-call shifts including nights/weekends and travel as needed.
• Follow safe work practices around electricity, gas, steam, and hot surfaces.
