Job summary

Underwriter Services Association seeks Independent Contractors to perform insurance field inspections nationwide. You will use our online portal to manage inspections, interview the insured, photograph properties, and upload reports within 14 days.

You will deliver comprehensive loss-control reports per client templates, identify hazards, and recommend mitigations. Inspections occur Mon–Fri; you set your own schedule and provide the necessary tools.

Qualifications

• Independent, professional, reliable business owner with a flexible schedule.
• Clear demonstration of experience in insurance field inspection or relevant certifications for Personal and Commercial lines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work with diverse people.

• Familiar with technology and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance field inspections and follow client templates.
• Take photos, notes, interviews with insured, and create diagrams as required.
• Upload complete reports and supporting materials within 14 days via inspector portal.
• Provide high-quality loss-control reports identifying hazards and mitigation recommendations.
• Maintain independence, manage own schedule, and pass background checks.
