Job summary

LCS, a leading loss control provider in the insurance industry, is seeking insurance inspectors in the New England region.

As an independent contractor you will set your own appointments and manage your schedule, performing both residential and commercial inspections (interior/exterior as required) and reporting findings through a web-based workflow system. A background check is required and you will need to meet due dates with timely inspections and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and commercial inspections.
• Willing to complete a background check.
• Independent contractor able to manage own schedule and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Understand general liability and property coverages and apply them to assess exposures at a property.
• Coordinate appointments/visits with insureds.
• Meet due dates by completing inspections and reporting on time.
• Be detail oriented with scheduling flexibility and reliable transportation.
• Complete pre-visit phone interview along with on-site inspection.
• Identify hazards and develop recommendations to mitigate loss.
• Complete reporting via web-based workflow management system, including uploading photos and diagrams.
• Communicate well with LCS and the insured.
• Utilize digital photography and measuring wheel.
• Maintain professional attire and appearance.
