Job summary
A behavioral health organization in Indiana seeks a Behavioral Consultant to provide evidence-based support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role is contracted and offers flexibility and autonomy. Responsibilities include completing assessments and developing behavior support strategies in community settings. Candidates must hold a relevant master’s degree and possess strong communication skills. Services are delivered in-home with a focus on collaboration with families and support teams.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable transportation to and from clients' location.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Responsibilities
Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing behavioral evaluation.
Teach and coach caregivers and staff on behavior support plan strategies.
Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) aligned with PCISP.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Education
Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
