Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must reside in Iowa.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• Must pass extensive background checks.

Responsibilities

• Host an adult with disabilities in your home and provide guidance, support, and care.
• Work with the mentee on goals like budgeting, cooking, hygiene, and community integration.
• Act as advocate/mentor to help them live their best life.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming home environment while meeting training requirements.
