Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Start of Care South team serving Allston, Belmont, Brighton, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Newton Corner, Newtonville and surrounding towns.

You will perform start-of-care visits, build individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality home health nursing. The role offers part-time hours (27 per week) with no evenings and 9-hour days on Thursday and Friday, plus a

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• At least one year of acute care nursing experience (home care experience preferred).
• Comfort working with various computer systems; experience with handheld clinical devices preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and electronic.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-directed in unpredictable situations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Willingness to travel within the MGB Healthcare at Home geographic area

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments and admissions.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care, education, and treatment.
