Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. seeks a Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to serve patients in the comfort of their homes across our Massachusetts service area.

You’ll evaluate, treat, and coordinate care with families and an interdisciplinary team, while maintaining independence within a supportive group. With a 32-hour schedule (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri), this role offers autonomy to manage your patient visits, no evenings or holidays, and access to provided equipment to deliver

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Massachusetts SLP license.
• Two years’ experience in acute care, rehab or homecare as a Speech Therapist.
• Comfort with multiple computer systems; handheld devices preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel within the MGB Healthcare at Home geographic area.
• Collaborates effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled speech-language and swallowing therapy in the home.
• Coordinate care with families, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document evaluations, progress, and care coordination activities.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies and recommendations.
• Support transition to outpatient services when appropriate.
