Job summary

Compassus is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver hands-on therapy in patients’ homes in the Seattle area. You will work under a Physical Therapist, following a physician-ordered Plan of Care to help patients regain strength and independence while ensuring safe, effective home care.

You’ll communicate with the care team and manage your caseload autonomously in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Preferred 1 year PTA experience in home health or rehabilitation.
• Current, unencumbered PTA license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire; vendor managed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services per the plan of care and PT guidance.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and communicate with the care team.
• Manage caseload and schedule home visits autonomously.
• Assess patient progress and refer for additional services as needed.
• Ensure home safety and adapt equipment for optimal function.
• Coordinate with nursing, social work, and other rehab disciplines.
