Job summary

Ghafari Associates, a global architecture, engineering and consulting firm, seeks a Construction Field Representative/Field Engineer to monitor on-site activities across facility projects from construction through post-construction stages.

You will support QA/QC efforts, develop QCP and ITP plans, maintain logs, and coordinate with the owner, EOR, and contractors. A LEED credentialed team member is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Professional Registration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction and contract administration.
• ADA and Safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field quality control and inspections per plans, specs, and codes.
• Serve as liaison between contractor, architect, and engineers.
• Maintain NCR logs, observations, and EOR review records for corrective actions.
• Gather site photos during and after project completion.
• Attend preconstruction and regular construction meetings on behalf of the A/E team.
• Identify nonconforming work and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors.
