Qualifikationen

• Must have 1 year of first-party commercial or residential property adjusting experience.
• Must maintain own estimating software (Xactimate preferred; Cotality a plus).
• Must have a working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word.
• Strong time management and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters.
• Texas state adjuster license and valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Conduct residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials, and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with a well-supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports and review coverage forms and endorsements.
• Provide a thorough analysis of coverage issues in a well-documented client report.
• Ensure quality through adherence to best practices.
