Job summary

Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC seeks a Direct Care Provider to join our registry network as an independent contractor. You will provide one-on-one home and community support for an adult male in his 30s on the autism spectrum, focusing on community integration and social skills in town settings such as the local pet store, gym, and grocery store.

The role is part-time (18 hours/week) with shifts Tue–Fri 2:00 PM–5:30 PM and every other Saturday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM in Pace, FL, with no

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for professional use (gas/mileage not reimbursed).
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs.
• Personal smartphone required for scheduling and communication.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required within 30 days of onboarding.
• APD Training Certificates required within 30 days of onboarding.
• CNA, BLS, HHA, or DSP certifications preferred (not required).

• Encourage positive behaviors and reinforce goals.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans and behavioral strategies.
• Promote client dignity, choice, and community involvement.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respectful communication.
• Ensure client safety following APD guidelines and agency protocols.
• Communicate effectively with agency leadership, families, and coordinators.
• Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies as needed.

Employment Terms Disclosure

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are strictly responsible for their own tax obligations (including self‑employment taxes) and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, health insurance, or paid time off.
