Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, MA is seeking a diligent custodian to maintain classrooms, corridors and common areas. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, cleaning glass, floors, bathrooms, and shared spaces to ensure a safe, clean environment for students and staff.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, react to fast-paced demands, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR & AED certification and a valid driver’s license are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in professional/custodial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to work with all members of the school community in a pleasant, cooperative manner.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Applicant must consent to a criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Operates vacuum cleaners, auto scrubbers, carpet extractors, sweepers, and high-speed burnishers.
• Cleans all glass and lighting fixtures using proper chemicals and equipment.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other campus areas using correct techniques.
• Transports trash to disposal area and replenishes bathroom supplies as needed.
• Maintains attendance, punctuality, and appearance as required.
