Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs in Minnesota seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) with CT and dual-energy DXA expertise. This role conducts a wide range of radiologic exams, with or without contrast, to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Candidates must meet credentialing standards (ARRT), complete a 24-month post-high school program, and hold CT certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a full-time 24-month post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program.
• Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R).
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT.
• English language proficiency as required by VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations with and without contrast.
• Ensure patient safety and apply ALARA principles.
• Monitor patient during procedures and document pertinent findings.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment and ensure image quality.
