Job summary

Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services LLC in Springfield, VA is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist as an Independent Contractor. Earn $75-$85 per hour with flexible part-time, PRN, or caseload-based scheduling in a clinic-based setting serving children with autism and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia SLP license and ASHA CCC.
• Professional liability insurance and NPI number.
• Experience working with autism, developmental disabilities, or AAC.
• Strong evaluation, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized, functional treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric clients.
• Address receptive/expressive language, articulation, social communication, and AAC.
• Complete evaluations, notes, progress reports, and reauthorization docs timely.
• Provide caregiver education, training, and home recommendations.
• Collaborate with ABA, OT, school, medical providers as appropriate.
• Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary planning.
• Monitor progress and revise recommendations based on data.
• Maintain accurate records; comply with HIPAA, payer, ASHA requirements.
• Communicate scheduling/documentation concerns promptly.
• Contribute ideas to grow CABATS' Speech Therapy program.
