Job summary

Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services LLC (CABATS) in Springfield, Virginia, seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist as a 1099 contractor. The role offers flexible part-time or PRN scheduling with a manageable caseload and clinical autonomy in evaluation and treatment planning.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team providing speech, occupational therapy, and ABA services, with administrative support and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active Virginia SLP license required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• NPI and payer credentialing eligibility required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience with autism and AAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete pediatric speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy.
• Support communication, language development, speech production, and AAC needs as appropriate.
• Provide practical caregiver education.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with other providers to support consistent care.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Professional liability insurance

NPI and eligibility for payer credentialing

Pediatric experience preferred

Experience with autism and AAC preferred
