You will document activities, supervise sessions, and plan age-appropriate activities while collaborating with facilitators and families. The role requires 18+ and 2+ years of early childhood experience, with an Associate’s degree preferred and knowledge of local health and safety standards.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Six SCH of post-high school coursework in Early Childhood Education.
• Two years of early childhood teaching experience.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Knowledge of DCDEE and Mecklenburg County Health Department standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain timely documentation such as time sheets, agendas, and rosters.
• Be present for the entire duration of the childcare session.
• Accountability for the classroom’s set-up and clean-up.
• Report and document all suspicions of abuse or neglect to facilitator/Childcare Manager.
• Plan age-appropriate activities for childcare sessions.
• Communicate concerns about child safety to the facilitator/Child Care Manager within 24 hours.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Complete trainings on Crisis Response and Child Maltreatment.
• Other tasks assigned by Child Care Manager.
