Job summary

re:fab is seeking experienced carpenters/framers to join as subcontractors for a large commercial project in the Boston MA area, framing multiple decks. You will be responsible for pricing, building, installing, and repairing structures using wood and other materials for our commercial and residential renovation division.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the estimating team on quotes, reading blueprints, cutting and assembling components, installing windows/doors, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional customer service skills.
• Effective communication & writing skills.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials specifications, quality control, and safety.
• Ability to read and understand related construction documents (blueprints, plans, specs, etc.).
• OSHA 10 card satisfied or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with estimating team on job quotes.
• Measure and lay out materials based on blueprints or instructions.
• Cut and shape structures from wood and other materials.
• Install windows, doors, cabinets, partitions, moldings; remodel as needed.
• Maintain safety and adhere to company policies while completing projects.
