Job summary

re:fab is onboarding dedicated drywall and framing carpenters for a commercial project in Shelburne, VT. As a subcontractor, you’ll join a growing network and contribute to a full-service renovation workflow, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer service.

The role requires professional finish carpentry experience, residential framing/remodeling skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Candidates should own tools and have insured vehicle, along with OSHA-10 and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional finish carpentry experience.
• Residential framing and remodeling experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and plans.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
• Own tools and insured truck or van.
• Workers’ Comp & General Liability Insurance; auto & disability insurance.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install windows, doors, trim, cabinets, molding, partitions, etc.
• Perform commercial and residential remodel tasks
• Read and work from blueprints, plans, and project specifications
• Collaborate with estimating and operations teams
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials
• Maintain accurate measurements and quality workmanship
• Complete daily logs and project updates
• Follow local building codes and company safety procedures
