Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking American Sign Language interpreters to join our McAllen, TX network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across diverse settings and help support a broad range of interpreting assignments.

We are continuously accepting qualified interpreters. Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor's degree, RID certification, and fluency in English and ASL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree required.
• RID certification required.
• State licensure in interpreting where applicable.
• Fluency in English and ASL.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
