Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking American Sign Language interpreters for the Lubbock, TX area. As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for LEP individuals across various settings.

LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments. Interpreters must hold RID certification, be fluent in American Sign Language and English, and may need state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• RID certification is required.
• State interpreting licensure as applicable.
• Associate or bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct and confidentiality.
• Adhere to policies and interpretation protocols and best practices.
• Meet client clearance requirements as requested.
• Report on-site to accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Have access to personal or public transport.
