Job summary

Language Services Associates in Dallas, TX is seeking American Sign Language interpreters to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate communication for LEP communities across a variety of settings and assignments.

As an interpreter, you will provide professional services, maintain confidentiality, follow industry standards, and adhere to client requirements. RID certification and state licensure are preferred, with fluent English and ASL essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• RID certification
• State interpreting licensure (as applicable)
• Fluency in English and American Sign Language

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
