Kindly Direct Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work one-to-one with adults with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. The role emphasizes mentoring, coaching, and fostering independence in community settings.

You’ll be involved in recreation, daily living skills, and building routines while ensuring safety and respectful communication. Opportunities vary by location with schedules that may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, part-time or full-time.

Qualifications

• Warm, reliable, patient; capable of building trust.
• Strong communication and good judgment.
• Interest or experience in mentoring, coaching, or human services.
• Able to complete background checks, onboarding, and training.
• Reliable transportation and driving credentials when required.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in the community participating in recreation and events.
• Coach daily living, social, and independence skills.
• Help build routines, confidence, and community connection.
• Support progress toward individualized goals with respect for choices.
• Provide companionship and model appropriate communication.
• Complete required documentation and maintain attendance.
