Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating ability to assist in reading, writing, and math.
• Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required.
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual behavior intervention and medical support to students in classroom settings.
• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management in special and general education environments.
• Support students in lunchroom and playfield settings to enhance learning.
