Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in increasingly difficult inspection involving the application and working knowledge of sophisticated measuring techniques
• Experience programming CMM quality inspections
• Solid understanding of GD&T with respect to CMM applications
• IPC-610 certified

Responsibilities

• Performs inbound material inspections to ensure quality and conformance
• Programs automated testers and validates testing programs used by automated equipment
• Interprets engineering drawings and writes inspection methods for parts and automated testing
• Collaborates with engineers to resolve drawing issues and provide feedback to R&D/QA/Production
• Uses engineering knowledge to define requirements and test designs at component level
• Supports continuous improvement within the quality inspection process
